🍓🍵 Strawberry Matcha Latte

4–5 fresh strawberries (or 1/4 cup strawberry puree)

1–2 tsp sugar or honey (adjust to taste)

3/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

1 tsp matcha powder (ceremonial or culinary grade)

2–3 tbsp hot water (not boiling, about 175°F / 80°C)

Strawberry layer: Mash strawberries with sugar (or honey) until syrupy. For a smoother texture, blend into a puree. Add to the bottom of a glass.

Milk layer: Pour milk over the strawberry layer. Add ice cubes.

Matcha layer: In a small bowl, whisk matcha with hot water until smooth and frothy (no clumps). Slowly pour over the milk to create layers.
