Strawberry Ice Cream
Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) fresh strawberries, hulled

¾ cup sugar, divided

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, brightens flavor)
Instructions
1. Prep Strawberries

Chop strawberries and toss with ¼ cup sugar.

Let sit 15–20 minutes until juicy.

Mash with a fork (chunky) or puree in a blender (smooth). Stir in lemon juice if using.
2. Make the Ice Cream Base

In a mixing bowl, whisk cream, milk, remaining ½ cup sugar, vanilla, and salt until sugar dissolves.

Stir in the strawberry mixture.
3. Freeze

With Ice Cream Maker: Chill mixture, then churn according to your machine’s instructions (about 20–25 min). Freeze 2–4 hours until firm.
