1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
-
½ cup diced onion (optional)
-
½ cup relish or diced pickles
-
½ cup ketchup
-
½ cup mustard
-
2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional, for richness)
-
2 tbsp butter, melted (to brush on buns)
-
Sesame seeds (optional garnish)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven → 375°F (190°C).
-
Prep buns & hot dogs → Place buns in a greased 9×13 baking dish. Spread a little mayo (optional) inside each bun, then place a hot dog in each.

Serve hot → Add any fresh toppings like jalapeños, coleslaw, or more pickles before serving.
✨ Variations:
-
Chili Cheese Baked Dogs → Top with chili + cheddar before baking.
-
Philly Style → Add sautéed peppers, onions, and provolone.
-
BBQ Dogs → Drizzle with BBQ sauce + sharp cheddar.
