🥦 Crispy Roasted Cauliflower
Ingredients
-
1 large head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
-
3 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional for a smoky flavor)
-
1/2 tsp onion powder
-
Salt & black pepper, to taste
-
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra crispiness)
-
Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
-
Prepare cauliflower: Place florets in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, then toss with garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
-
Spread out: Arrange florets in a single layer on the baking sheet (don’t overcrowd — this ensures crispiness).
-
Roast: Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until edges are golden brown and crispy.
-
Optional cheesy finish: In the last 5 minutes, sprinkle Parmesan over the cauliflower and return to the oven.
-
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley or chives and enjoy hot!
✨ Variations:
-
Toss with buffalo sauce after roasting for spicy buffalo cauliflower.
-
Sprinkle with lemon zest and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving for brightness.
-
Add a pinch of curry powder for a warm, earthy twist.
