Melt-in-Your-Mouth 2-Ingredient Biscuits
These impossibly easy biscuits are light, fluffy, and buttery—no rolling or cutting required! Perfect for breakfast, dinner, or a last-minute side.
Ingredients:
-
1 cup self-rising flour (see note below for substitute)
-
½ cup heavy cream (plus extra for brushing)
-
(Optional) 1 tbsp sugar (for sweeter biscuits)
-
(Optional) 1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
-
Mix dough: In a bowl, gently stir together flour and cream until just combined (don’t overmix—it should be shaggy).
-
Shape: Drop 4-5 rough mounds onto a parchment-lined baking sheet (or pat into a small rectangle and cut squares).
-
Bake 10-12 mins until golden.
-
Brush with extra cream or melted butter right after baking for extra richness.
Notes:
-
No self-rising flour? Make your own: Mix 1 cup all-purpose flour + 1½ tsp baking powder + ¼ tsp salt.
-
For flakier biscuits: Fold the dough 2-3 times before shaping.
-
Variations: Add cheese, herbs, or a dash of garlic powder for savory twists.
These biscuits are magically tender with just 2 ingredients—ideal for lazy bakers! Enjoy warm with jam, gravy, or honey butter. 😊🍯
