1 large egg, room temperature

⅓ cup (75g) melted butter (or oil)

1 cup (175g) chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
Instructions:
1. Prep & Mix Dry Ingredients:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with liners or grease well.

In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, mash bananas, then mix in sugar, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
3. Combine & Fold:

Gently stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined (don’t overmix).

Divide batter into muffin cups (fill ¾ full). Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
