Ingredients (Makes 12 biscuits)
For the Biscuits:

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

½ tsp Old Bay seasoning (+ extra for garnish)

½ cup (1 stick / 115g) cold butter, grated or cubed

1 cup (120g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

¾ cup (180ml) cold buttermilk *(or milk + 1 tsp vinegar)*
For the Crab Filling:

8 oz (225g) lump crab meat, drained & picked for shells

2 tbsp cream cheese, softened

1 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp lemon zest

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

¼ tsp cayenne (optional)
For the Lemon Butter Glaze:

3 tbsp butter, melted

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions

Prep:

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Make the crab filling:

In a bowl, mix crab, cream cheese, mayo, Dijon, Worcestershire, lemon zest, parsley, and cayenne. Chill until ready to use.

Make the biscuit dough:

Whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and Old Bay.

Cut in cold butter until pea-sized crumbs form.

Stir in cheddar, then add buttermilk until just combined (don’t overmix).

Roll dough into 12 balls, flatten slightly, and place 1 tsp crab filling in the center. Fold dough over and seal.
