Ingredients

2-3 lbs pork baby back ribs or spare ribs

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp cayenne (optional, for heat)

1 cup barbecue sauce (plus extra for glazing)

½ cup apple juice or beer (for moisture)

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
1. Prep the Ribs

Remove membrane from the back of ribs (slide a knife under and peel off).

Cut ribs into 3-4 bone sections to fit in the crockpot.
2. Season Generously

Mix dry spices (paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, cayenne).

Rub all over ribs, coating evenly.
3. Slow Cook (6-8 Hours)

Place ribs standing upright in the crockpot (like a rack of ribs).

Pour in apple juice/beer + Worcestershire sauce (keeps them moist).
